The mother and the father have split up leaving her with three children to support by herself when she has no reliable source of income. She is her youngest of three children.

She is not at all shy. She is a very bright, bubbly happy child and she currently enjoys learning lusoga.

Future plans...

Her mother would like her to get a good enough education that he could be anything she chose i.e. a doctor. But she is obviously too young to have plans herself yet!

Notes:

While she is still so small they would prefer her to go to day school. But when she is older they would prefer her to go to boarding school to get a better education.

Child Financial Needs:

The Ugandan government does not offer free education at any level. Before coming to the home, many of the children had been forced to drop out of school because they were unable to pay the fees. El-Shadai Family Foster Home believes that all children should have an education and a safe, loving environment where all of their basic needs are met.
