Their story...

He is the eldest of five children, though there are only four now as one of his sisters sadly died. Their dad left them last year and the mother now struggles to support them all. She works on a stall on the market and occasionally offers people cooking lessons but it is not enough to cover all the school fees and she prays everyday that he will be able to find a sponsor.

Recent performance:

Very good, he got 14 aggregates last year which is a high second grade. His favorite subjects are Science and English and Math is his most challenging subject.

Interests and Hobbies...

He loves football and supports Manchester United.

Future plans...

He would like to be a brain surgeon based on his love of science.

Notes:

He would prefer to go to boarding school if possible due to the better standard of education he would receive there.

Child Financial Needs:

The Ugandan government does not offer free education at any level. Before coming to the home, many of the children had been forced to drop out of school because they were unable to pay the fees. El-Shadai Family Foster Home believes that all children should have an education and a safe, loving environment where all of their basic needs are met.
