Their story...

He is her only child, but she had to conceal the pregnancy for a long time as she had her doubts about the father, who subsequently left her when he found out she was pregnant. She doesn’t have enough money herself to afford his school fees but wants to see him succeed in life.

Recent performance:

He did well in nursery especially in Science, Math and English

Interests and Hobbies...

He likes to collect and repair broken things to make homemade toys to play with.

Future plans...

His mother would like him to get a good enough education that he could be anything he chose i.e. an engineer because he likes mending things. But he is obviously too young to have plans himself yet!

Notes:

Would like to start with day school but progress to boarding school soon as it would give him a better education.

Child Financial Needs:

The Ugandan government does not offer free education at any level. Before coming to the home, many of the children had been forced to drop out of school because they were unable to pay the fees. El-Shadai Family Foster Home believes that all children should have an education and a safe, loving environment where all of their basic needs are met.
