Her father died leaving the mother to support her three children alone. It is very hard for the mother to pay for the school fees as she has no stable source of income at the moment.

Recent performance:

In her last report her teacher said she is disciplined and likes learning and that she has improved a lot in the last year. Her best subjects are English and Social Studies.

Interests and Hobbies...

She loves athletics and music.

Future plans...

At the moment she dreams of being able to become an engineer.

Notes:

She has been going to day school but would prefer to go to boarding if possible in the future.

The Ugandan government does not offer free education at any level. Before coming to the home, many of the children had been forced to drop out of school because they were unable to pay the fees. El-Shadai Family Foster Home believes that all children should have an education and a safe, loving environment where all of their basic needs are met.
