Her story...

Tabitha came from a home where her father was a drunkard and drug addict. He and her mother were divorced. Her father drinks from morning to night. He does not look after them as children. Tabitha had a difficult life of negligence and was not loved. She had dropped out of school. Tabitha shares the same mother as Joan and Peace. She was brought to the home just before Joan. She had dropped out of school and was working at home. Her father would take books they were given for school and sell them for money to drink. Often in a drunken rage he would chase them from the house.

Interests and Hobbies...

Her performance at school is quite good and she is gifted in music, dance and drama.

Future plans...

She wants to become a Bank Manager in the future.

Notes:

She witnessed and experienced much domestic violence and is still undergoing counseling to recover from the trauma.

Child Financial Needs:

The Ugandan government does not offer free education at any level. Before coming to the home, many of the children had been forced to drop out of school because they were unable to pay the fees. El-Shadai Family Foster Home believes that all children should have an education and a safe, loving environment where all of their basic needs are met.
