Her story...
Peace Joyce Manyere Wante, was brought from the village of Wanyange, where Uncle Stephen found her abandoned by her stepmother. Her biological mother had disappeared to escape her abusive father. Peace was in a very fragile health condition when Uncle Stephen found her. There was no other alternative but to bring her to El-Shadai even though the house was crowded. Peace loves the company of other children and is very playful. She loves to dance and sing. She loves to eat.
Notes:
To this day, she dislikes seeing people arguing and fighting, but she has adjusted very well to the family. In the time she has been at the home her health has dramatically improved, her whole demeanor has changed and she seems to be very happy.
Child Financial Needs:
The Ugandan government does not offer free education at any level. Before coming to the home, many of the children had been forced to drop out of school because they were unable to pay the fees. El-Shadai Family Foster Home believes that all children should have an education and a safe, loving environment where all of their basic needs are met.
